Aims/Description: This module is foundational for doctoral researchers. It aims to create a PGR cohort with a strong research culture of critical thinking and mutual support, enabling a high-level engagement with the research cultures and practices of architecture and landscape as joint or distinct disciplines. It integrates students within the PhD programmes to foster active peer-to-peer learning and prepares them to be reflexive learners within the PhD process. The module is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, individual review meetings, and entails reflective participation in discipline-specific research activities both within the University (such as Departmental Research Seminars and the Creative Enquiry Forum).
