Aims/Description: The aims of this module are to introduce mathematical skills that are essential for problem solving in economics and used throughout the degree programme. The module will provide an insight into the importance of mathematical methods in economics, and to study the key mathematical concepts widely applied in modern economics.

Restrictions on availability: Avaiable to students on Economics UG programmes as a core module and also available for SMIU37 & SMIU38 students
