Aims/Description: This module introduces students to econometric analysis, through a consideration of regression models, their properties, what can go wrong, and how those problems are solved. Throughout, the module tries to provide students with an intuitive feel for these issues, supported by appropriate mathematical proofs. Students are also provided with the practical experience of performing their own regression analyses, in a supported workshop setting with datasets provided to them.
