Aims/Description: This module aims to provide students with the research skills required to carry out supervised, independent research in economics. Students will have the opportunity to formulate a research proposal and to write an extended literature review on their chosen research topic. The module lectures will cover topics such as an introduction to the process of writing a dissertation, identifying relevant data sources and searching for literature. The module also contains a series of computer workshops which will focus on analysing real-world datasets.
Restrictions on availability: Only available to single honours Economics and BSc Economics with Finance students
