10 Credits AUTUMN



Aims/Description: An English language module offered by the ELTC which aims to improve students' knowledge and understanding of English language and culture through the study of British news media including newspapers, TV and radio news, news websites, and news accessed via social media. Students will learn about the linguistic and cultural characteristics of various forms of news media and will be encouraged to analyse these and discuss the issues they raise.

Restrictions on availability: Available to visiting exchange students whose first language is not English. Students should be between a B2/C1 level (IELTS 6.0 to 7.0)
