Aims/Description: English as a Foreign Language Upper-intermediate 1 is a general English language and skills module at B2 level. The module aims to consolidate students' understanding and ability to use English language grammatical, lexical and phonological systems at upper-intermediate level. Students will develop competence in the four main skills with a focus on speaking and writing skills. At the same time, the module also aims to help students develop a better understanding of British culture and society, including how English language is used for particular purposes and in particular contexts.  The course is delivered through two weekly classes of two hours each along with individual independent study time.

Restrictions on availability: This module is only available to incoming exchange students
