Aims/Description: This module gives you a basic understanding and applications of selected types of nanomaterial. The core topics of the module comprise: (a) nanocomposite materials (b) 2D nanomaterials, including graphene and graphene-composites (c) nanocrystalline ceramics (d) bio-nanomaterials (e) thin films and deposition techniques (f) principles of nano-mechanics.
