Aims/Description: The theory of taxation examines the principal concepts, which are used to analyse the impact and incidence of direct and indirect taxation on (groups of) individuals and the economy as a whole. Practical taxation requires an understanding of basic tax law and the procedures for calculating the tax liabilities of individuals and companies.
