Aims/Description: The module focuses on financial governance, external accounting and external auditing as key aspects of the business context. The governance of the organisation is understood as a nexus of state, market and other (e.g. civil society pressures) forces. There is some consideration of corporate social responsibility. International aspects of organisational governance are discussed.
Restrictions on availability: Restriction to learners on the Senior Leadership Apprenticeship Programme or the non-apprenticeship route. This is for post experience learners who will be in employment. Not an open module.
