PHY106 The Solar System

Aims/Description: One of the four half-modules forming the Level 1 astronomy course, but may also be taken as a stand-alone module. PHY106 covers the elements of the Solar System: the Sun, planets, moons and minor bodies. What are their structures and compositions, and what do they tell us about the formation and history of the Solar System?

Restrictions on availability: Only to be taken by students with A Level maths and physics
