Aims/Description: Is anybody out there? In this module we explore how we hope to find alien life in the near future and discuss what this might be like and where we should be looking. We critically examine ideas about the frequency of life, advanced life, and technological civilisations in the universe.
Restrictions on availability: "PHY106 - must have been passed One of PHY111 or PHY104 assumed knowledge, but students can take the module without these prerequisites"
